Welcome to Nori

Nori is a very special home away from home, located next to the ocean on Cornwall's North  Coast. This cosy, bijou bolthole for two in St Agnes  offers a unique and inspiring experience. With everything you need for a relaxing time away as a couple or solo traveller, Nori and St Agnes has so much to offer. Overlooking the stunning beach at Trevaunance Cove while tucked away with its own private terrace, enjoy the spectacular views or take a stroll down to the beach for an early morning dip and have the whole vista to yourself. It really is a very special experience.

“We loved the little extras on arrival, the available yoga mats, definitely a plus, the local map for hiking, the cookery books... Everything was meant for us to make the best of our stay at Nori. We had decided to come back even before leaving!"

Accommodation

LIVING

Boasting a delightfully clever approach to open plan living, with the living room carefully separated from the kitchen with a table for two, allowing you to make the most of the welcoming space. Light sweeps in through the sliding French doors, skylight and windows, which look out across the cliffs, golden sands, and turquoise waters of Trevaunance  Cove, creating a beautifully airy setting. The double linen sofa is bedecked with plump cushions and cosy throws, providing a place to curl up during the evenings. The coffee table, made from a remarkable vintage military chest draws the eye, while reclaimed wood side tables provide plenty of space to rest your coffee. Snug moments await beside the sleek wood burning stove, which is ready to fill the room with a warm glow. A smart TV is hidden away in a specially purposed cabinet while a Marshall wireless speaker is available offering accompaniment for moments of escape and relaxation.

EATING

Separating the kitchen form the living area, a two-toned wooden table is an idyllic spot to enjoy dreamy breakfasts overlooking the cliffs, while a coffee machine promises your favourite morning blend. The kitchen is crafted from pale, natural rustic wood, creating a relaxed environment for creating culinary delights. A hidden away dishwasher ensures clearing away is a breeze.

The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials provided, from olive oil and balsamic vinegar through to dishwashing tablets, cling film and tin foil. Also provided is a sumptuous welcome hamper stuffed with wonderful local produce. So no need to worry, you can arrive and settle straight in.

Please note, Nori does not have a washing machine but if you do feel the need for some laundry to be done, we can arrange this locally for you.

SLEEPING

When sleep beckons, there is nowhere dreamier to rest your head than this inviting, natural themed bedroom. About us

We moved to St Agnes after a lifetime of travelling with work. The travel was exciting but nowhere felt like home. In order to build life long memories for our family, we returned every year, sometimes several times a year, to Cornwall and St Agnes. Then, the opportunity came for us to move here permanently and we have never looked back. It is a truly special feeling to at last find the place that feels like and is home; we are very lucky and very grateful. Having achieved this for ourselves and our family, we love to be able to share this special place with others and so the reason for creating Nori. We very much hope that our guests are able to build their own lasting memories in this very special place.
